Consultancy works when someone can act on the advice
A useful consulting brief names a decision: which service page to improve first, why enquiries are unsuitable or how to protect existing pages during a redesign. It also identifies the person who can make the resulting changes. Without that capacity, advice may remain an unread document.
Ask for priorities in plain language, evidence behind them and an acceptance check for each piece of work. An audit should distinguish observed problems from hypotheses. Agree whether implementation and follow-up are included; use our scope guide if you need delivery support too.
