Choose what needs to grow

Start with a service you have capacity to deliver, its real catchment area and the questions people ask before contacting you.

Make the choice easier

Explain who the service is for, what happens next, likely costs where available, who provides it and how to enquire.

Check what reaches reception

Read search activity alongside relevant enquiries, response times and bookings where those outcomes can be verified.

Is SEO the right next step?

SEO means improving your website so people can discover it through unpaid search results. It is useful when people are looking for your services and your pages are hard to find or difficult to understand. It will not create appointment capacity or repair a slow response to enquiries.

  • Few suitable people find you: check which service and location searches currently show your website.
  • People visit but do not enquire: check fees, suitability, practical details and the contact route before adding more articles.
  • Enquiries arrive but appointments do not: review enquiry quality, availability and follow-up with your team.
  • You need bookings immediately: discuss your deadline openly. Search improvements have uncertain timescales, so SEO may be only one part of the plan.

What our healthcare SEO services include

We agree a scope around your starting point. You should be able to recognise the problem being fixed and inspect the change afterwards.

  • A short priority plan. The services and locations to focus on, the evidence behind that choice and the work that can wait.
  • Better service pages. Clear answers to patient, family or referrer questions, using details your team has confirmed.
  • A website people can use. Working links and forms, readable mobile pages and fixes where Google cannot access important information.
  • Accurate local information. Consistent contact details, locations and opening arrangements where local search matters.
  • A record of changes and results. What was changed, when it went live and whether relevant search visits or enquiries changed.

Writing, website implementation, local profile work and ongoing reporting must be named in the proposal. A list of recommendations alone is different from a service that also makes the changes. If you are choosing a delivery partner, see how to brief a healthcare SEO agency.

An example: visits are rising, useful enquiries are not

Illustrative situation: a clinic publishes general health articles and sees more visits. Reception still receives questions about services it does not provide, while a priority appointment page receives little attention.

The first action is to compare the searches reaching those pages with the service the clinic wants to offer. Then check whether the appointment page explains eligibility, location, fees and the actual enquiry process. Improving that page and the routes to it may be more useful than commissioning another batch of articles.

Judge the change by relevant visits and appropriate enquiries. A higher visitor total on unrelated articles would not resolve the original problem. Use the guide to useful enquiry reporting to agree the measures with reception.

What we need from you

You do not need to learn SEO terminology. We need a named contact who can confirm the services, availability, locations, prices and booking arrangements. Clinical statements need an appropriate clinician to check them. Agree who writes, who reviews and who approves each piece of content; a doctor-led business does not make every page clinically reviewed.

Where available, read access to Search Console helps us see which Google searches and pages already receive attention. Aggregate enquiry information adds the business context. Do not send patient records, passwords or sensitive case details through the general contact form.

Before work begins, agree the deliverables, who will implement them, the fee, any separate costs, review dates and how you can end the arrangement. You should retain control of your website and business accounts.

How to judge progress

Use the free Enquiry & Booking Planner to discuss anonymous enquiry totals and appointment capacity with your team before deciding how much more demand to seek.

A useful review separates four questions: is Google showing the relevant pages, are suitable people visiting, are enquiries reaching your team, and are those enquiries appropriate for the service? Search Console answers part of this; it does not establish bookings or income.

Compare similar periods and record service changes, holidays and capacity limits. Small totals can move sharply in percentage terms. If results are weak, the next report should explain what the evidence suggests changing. No ranking, enquiry volume or AI citation is guaranteed.

Before we start

Questions worth asking

Not necessarily. Existing service pages, navigation or contact steps may be improved without a rebuild. A replacement should have a clear reason, cost and plan for protecting the pages people already use.

There is no dependable deadline for a particular ranking or enquiry total. We separate delivery dates for the agreed work from the time needed to observe search and enquiry changes, and review the assumptions with you.

We can review whether your public information is clear, accurate and accessible to search services. Google says its AI search features use the same core SEO foundations, with no special optimisation required. Inclusion in any AI answer remains outside our control.

Start with the problem you want to solve

Tell us which service you want to grow, where you provide it and what currently gets in the way. We can then discuss a useful scope.
