What to change
Ask your supplier to identify out-of-date editable information and offer a deliberate way to resolve conflicting changes rather than silently saving the older copy.
A worked example
Illustrative example
A practice manager edits a draft contact page in one tab and later saves an older copy in another. The interface flags the conflict for review.

Why this matters to your practice
Two open tabs can contain different versions of the same draft. Saving the older one should not silently replace newer work. Ask your supplier to demonstrate that conflict using a fictional editable record. The message should explain that another version exists and offer the supported way to review or resolve it. Your team should understand which version ultimately remains. A generic save failure is less helpful because it does not tell the person that their displayed information is out of date.
A practical review example
A practice manager may open a draft in two tabs, update a contact detail in the first and later save the older second view. Ask your supplier to reproduce that sequence with fictional content. The explanation should make clear that a newer version exists and show the supported resolution. Check the final values in both tabs afterwards. A generic save error does not tell the person why their information conflicts, while an unnoticed overwrite can remove work they reasonably believed was already kept.
How to check the result
Accept when conflicting stale edits produce an understandable decision and the visible result matches the selected resolution.
A mistake to avoid
Merely showing a generic save failure does not tell the visitor that their page is older than the stored version.
