What to change
Ask your supplier to make only the currently relevant menu or layout available to reading software and keyboard navigation when alternative versions are hidden.
A worked example
Illustrative example
The mobile menu appears once in the available controls, while an inactive desktop navigation copy contributes no second set of identical links.

Why this matters to your practice
Your website may use different menu layouts on phones and larger screens. Visitors should encounter only the version that is currently relevant. A hidden duplicate can otherwise make someone hear or navigate the same choices twice. Ask your supplier to check the page beyond its screenshot: keyboard movement and spoken navigation can reveal controls that are invisible. Include a change of screen size in the demonstration, so the review covers what happens when one layout replaces the other.
A practical review example
Suppose the desktop header and mobile menu are separate copies behind the design. Only one is visible, but a person listening to links hears every destination twice. Ask the supplier to demonstrate the list at both screen sizes and remove the inactive copy from the relevant interaction. Then resize while navigating. The next action should remain on a usable visible control, rather than leave the visitor operating the now-hidden version or restarting from the beginning of the page.
How to check the result
Accept when responsive variants expose one coherent interface at each size and resizing preserves a usable navigation position.
A mistake to avoid
Making a duplicate transparent or placing it offscreen does not necessarily remove it from keyboard or assistive navigation.
