What to change
Ask your supplier to preserve a coherent media state and keyboard position when visitors enter or leave fullscreen playback.
A worked example
Illustrative example
A visitor leaves fullscreen after reviewing a clip and returns to the same media panel, with the following transcript link readily reachable.

Why this matters to your practice
Fullscreen video should be easy to leave without losing the surrounding page. Ask your supplier to demonstrate entering and exiting with keyboard controls, then continuing to the next useful link. Check that the recording's position and playback state behave as expected. On a phone, include rotation in the review. The visitor came for information from your practice, so the media experience should return them naturally to that context rather than leave them searching for the page again.
A practical review example
A person may enlarge a video to read captions, then return to the page to follow a related guide. Ask your supplier to demonstrate the transition by keyboard and on a phone, including rotation where relevant. The recording should remain at the expected place, and the next page action should be reachable without restarting navigation. Review the actual published player because browser and provider behaviour can differ. The media feature should return the visitor naturally to the practice information surrounding it.
How to check the result
Accept when fullscreen transitions preserve the expected playback state and return the visitor to a meaningful place in the original page.
A mistake to avoid
Preserving the video timestamp alone is insufficient if keyboard focus disappears or the surrounding page becomes unscrollable after exit.
